Senior Quality Assurance Administrator – Full time/ Exempt        Oxon Hill,  MD 20745
The Senior Quality Control Administrator is responsible for coordinating the activities of the quality control process of each of the residential and consumer loans submitted for decisions. The incumbent provides internal review on the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) to ensure the reporting of the loans meets regulatory standards.

This Senior Quality Control Administrator uses knowledge of regulatory requirements to assess, document, and make recommendations to support the quality of lending products.

The incumbent shares responsibility with other employees for compliance with federal and local bank regulations and with Industrial Bank’s policies and procedures.  

The following qualifications and capabilities are important for successful performance of this job:
•    A high school diploma or equivalent work experience
•    3-5 years of experience in processing or originating loan documents
•    Good oral and written communication skills
•    Knowledge of quality control procedures and regulatory compliance requirements

Vice President/Commercial Loan Officer – Full time Exempt        Washington, DC 20011
The Vice President Commercial Loan Officer manages a commercial loan portfolio and develops new commercial loan business by maintaining contact with current and potential customers and by following-up on leads provided by other bank officers and staff. The incumbent processes applications for new loans and renewals, prepares credit analyses and executes approved loans, monitors payment records and follows-up with borrowers when payments are overdue, and maintains a working relationship with current and potential borrowers.

The incumbent shares responsibility with other Bank officers for compliance with federal and local bank regulations and with Industrial Bank policies and procedures.  Also, must comply with meeting compliance and audit requirements.
•    Formal education in business administration, accounting, marketing, or a related discipline.
•    Knowledge of federal bank regulations.
•    Knowledge of marketing and relationship management practices.
•    Knowledge of financial and credit risk analysis.
•    Knowledge of computer software programs used to evaluate financial information and maintain loan information.

Vice President/Commercial Loan officer/Small Business Administration        Washington, DC 20011
The Commercial Loan Officer/Small Business Administration position’s primary responsibility is split between OOCRE, C&I Lending and SBA loans with a focus on originating new loans in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. This includes objectives related to loan production, portfolio growth, fee income, profitability, credit quality, loan delinquencies, and member services.

The Lender generates C&I loans by establishing and maintaining contact with current and potential customers, and by following-up on leads provided by other bank officers and staff. An established book of business is preferred, but not required.

The Lender receives and processes applications for loans to finance owner occupied commercial property, to include construction, renovation, or acquisition, as well as general credit/working capital facilities for operating companies/businesses. Prepares an analysis of the financial condition and credit history of the organization that seeks financing; obtains approval to make the loan; and executes the loan.

The Vice President Commercial Loan Officer/Small Business Administration regularly reviews the loan portfolio to identify potential repayment problems, noting projects with cash flow issues, vacant units, and other signs of difficulty in order to respond quickly if loan payments become delinquent. The incumbent shares responsibility with other Bank officers for compliance with Federal and local bank regulations and with Industrial Bank policies and procedures, including compliance with meeting internal/external audit requirements.
•    Formal education in business administration, accounting, marketing, or a related discipline.
•    Experience as a Small Business Administration Lender with both residential and commercial accounts.
•    Knowledge of federal bank regulations.
•    Knowledge of marketing and relationship management practices.
•    Knowledge of financial analysis and credit risk ratings.
•    Knowledge of computer software programs used to evaluate loan information.
•    Ability to define, communicates, and monitors compliance with underwriting standards.
•    Ability to interact successfully with other executives and with senior officers of the Bank.

Mortgage Loan Originator – Full time Exempt (Commission)        Oxon Hill, MD 20745
The Mortgage Loan Originator is responsible for developing new residential mortgage business, qualifying borrowers, and assisting clients from the loans origination through the closing of the loan.
Primary responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
•    Developing and fostering partnership with in industry through builder, developers, real estate brokers, and other resources.
•    Analyzing personal and financial information for potential clients.
•    proving guidance to prospective applicants who have difficulty qualifying for traditional loans

This position requires two (2) years minimum experience in mortgage sales. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills; the ability to meet customer expectations; knowledge of Federal Bank Regulations; demonstrated financial analysis and credit risk rating knowledge; and working knowledge of computer software programs used to evaluate loan information.

Chief Credit Officer – Full time Exempt                Washington, DC 20745
The Chief Credit Officer assures the quality of the Bank’s loan portfolio by assisting the Board of Directors in establishing and implementing policies and procedures governing loan approvals and loan administration; by reviewing loan applications; and by assuring that, loans are properly documented and monitored. The incumbent directs the administration and collection of loans; directs the loan workout function; determines the allowance for loan losses; and reports to the Board and to management of the Bank regarding the status of the loan portfolio.

The Chief Credit Officer directs staff in the Credit Department and works collaboratively with the Chief Lending Officer and Loan Department staff who receive and process loan applications, evaluate the financial condition of borrowers, execute approved loans, and manage the relationship with borrowers.

The incumbent shares responsibility with other Bank officers for compliance with federal and local bank regulations and with Industrial Bank policies and procedures.  Also, must comply with meeting compliance and audit requirements.
•    A bachelor degree in business administration, banking, finance, or a related discipline.
•    6-8 years of experience in credit as a senior manager in a bank or related financial institution.
•    Knowledge of federal banking regulations.
•    Knowledge of credit administration, financial analysis, and risk analysis.
•    Ability to explain technical information to professional and administrative staff
•    Ability to define, communicate, and monitor compliance with the Bank’s standards and expectations.
•    Ability to interact successfully with other senior executives and members of the Board of Directors.

Portfolio Manager Commercial Lending - Fulltime Exempt (2 vacancies)         Washington, DC 20011
The Portfolio Manager manages the receipt and processing of commercial loan applications, underwriting of credits, manages the entire commercial/commercial real estate loan portfolio, manages the construction loan portfolio and all relative administrative functions, manages the commercial closing process, and works directly with the Commercial Loan Assistant and Portfolio Administrator who will provide assistance in performing assigned duties, and other duties as assigned.

The incumbent shares responsibility with other Bank officers for compliance with federal and local bank regulations and with Industrial Bank policies and procedures.  Incumbent will also be responsible for responding to audits.
•    Formal education in business administration, accounting, marketing, or a related discipline.
•    2-3 years’ experience as a commercial loan officer with important accounts.
•    Knowledge of federal bank regulations.
•    Knowledge of marketing and relationship management practices.
•    Knowledge of financial and credit risk analysis.
•    Knowledge of computer software programs used to evaluate financial information and to maintain loan information.
•    Ability to define, communicate, and monitor compliance with underwriting standards.
•    Ability to explain technical information to professional and administrative staff
•    Ability to interact successfully with outside business executives and with senior officers of the Bank.

Senior Credit Analyst

 

The Senior Credit Analyst owns primary responsibility for the underwriting quality, portfolio administration and credit quality of assigned portfolio, working directly with Commercial Lenders and other stakeholders within the Bank.

Completes in-depth analysis of financial data and other information provided by the client and/or Lenders. Demonstrates an ability to supplement analysis by conducting research and evaluations from a wide variety of sources to develop an assessment of client, business operations, market and industry risks and trends. Analysis consists of traditional C&I underwriting with a focus on financial performance over time. Summarizes recommendations with supporting financial reports, confers with Lender, and presents to the Loan Administration Manager, as well as other stakeholders for final loan authorization. Monitors an assigned credit portfolio and completes annual reviews; maintains a thorough understanding of the content and aggregate risks within the portfolio, trends and other key statistics. Collaborates with the C&I Lenders to identify lending opportunities within targeted markets and assists in the prioritization of relationship calling strategies.  Formal Commercial Banking credit training is required.

Primary responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to analyze a variety of financial reports, corporate and personal tax returns.

• Intermediate understanding of loan structure processes and regulations associated with lending

• Strong understanding of loan documentation criteria

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Ability to demonstrate being a self-starter, well-organized, detail-oriented

• Ability to work well independently and in a fast paced environment

• Proficiency with Industrial Bank operating systems inclusive of Navigator and other Commercial applications (i.e. Moody’s Lending Cloud, Director, LaserPro). Proficiency with other comparable/equivalent bank operating systems may be considered.
