Secure Communications
Our system ensures that data-exchanged between your PC and our
computer system is encrypted with 128-bit encryption – the industry
standard. Encryption is accomplished through Secure Sockets Layers
(SSL), which utilizes mathematical formulas to "encrypt" or hide,
information from prying eyes on the Internet. Additionally, if SSL
detects that data was added or deleted after you sent it to the bank,
the connection will be severed in order to guard against any tampering.

Secure Environment
Our computer system does not connect directly to
the Internet. It is isolated from the network via a "firewall." A
firewall is a combination of software and hardware products that
designate parameters, and control and limit outside computers' access to
the bank's internal networks and databases. You can feel secure knowing
that our firewall protects your personal information from unauthorized
access.
Secure Login
User Identification Codes and passwords are isolated from the
Internet by being stored on Industrial Bank's computer. This way, the
passwords and IDs cannot be easily accessed or downloaded by anyone on
the Internet. Additionally, user passwords can vary from eight to twelve
characters, which means the chance of randomly guessing a password is
less than one in one billion! The system also checks for invalid logins
and automatically disallows a user after three invalid login attempts.
This prohibits a hacker from gaining access to our system, thus
protecting your accounts.

Password Protection & PIN
Your password is secret and confidential; be sure to keep it that
way. Never give your password to anyone, whether in person or over the
phone. When creating your password Use a complex password with at least
nine to seventeen characters; must be a combination of 1 uppercase
letter, 1 lower case letter, 1 number and 1 special character.
The password should not include keywords, predictable terms, and number series (For example, Happy12345
Industrial Bank suggests changing your password every 90 days for security reasons.
Multi-Factor Authentication
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a security system Industrial
Bank uses for online banking that ensures your account stays safe. It
works by making sure there is more than one form of authentication to
verify that only the authorized user is able to access account
information.
Encryption
Your first line of defense in preventing online ID theft and fraud on
your accounts is a strong password and PIN (Personal Identification
Number). Be sure not to share them with anyone as most frauds involving
hijacked accounts start with someone the victim knows.
Industrial Bank Mobile App Data Deletion
To give mobile
banking users more transparency and control over their data, please view
the information below to submit a request to delete your Industrial
Bank app account and data. This would include usernames, email
addresses, passwords, phone numbers, two-factor authentication (2FA),
biometric data (fingerprints), and similar information used to
authenticate your log-in. This request does not close your Industrial
Bank accounts, it only discontinues access to your accounts via the
Industrial Bank Mobile Banking app.

- Information
such as your usage history, account information, and banking activity
will be retained in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- As a
regulated industry, we are required by law to retain data about your
online profile for a period of no less than three years. Therefore,
deleting your online profile will not delete all of the historical
records associated with your existing enrollment.
